Shannon Yeardley, Clinical and Holistic Psychologist and Artist
Psychology Practice and Art Studio located at Cedar Creek near Samford on Brisbane’s Northside
As an Integrative and Clinical Psychologist I offer a small number of psychology sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in a beautiful welcoming space connected to nature and overlooking beautiful Mount Glorious at Cedar Creek. My practice is ideal if you are a nature and animal lover - therapy is often supported by my “therapy assistant” chocolate lab Miss Evie.
I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and 25 years experience as Psychologist including my certificate in Psychedelic and Contemplative Therapy.
My focus areas include support for overcoming depression, anxiety and stress, trauma to embrace life experience untethered from old unhelpful patterns and blocks. I primarily work with trauma using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Therapy) and brain based approaches supported by the wisdom of nature.
I am passionate about good integration, preparation and harm reduction support for psychedelic assisted psychotherapy and plant medicine and a whole of body/somatic approach rather than just focusing on thoughts or the mind.
Therapy sessions are 90 minutes.
It is ideal to book in weekly for your first three sessions (or as close to this as possible depending on diary availability), then fortnightly for 2-3 sessions.
Previous clients are most welcome to book in for a single 90 minute consultation as a one off check in but it is best to book a block of sessions if working through a current challenge.
A medicare rebate for Clinical Psychology applies when referred by your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan of $141.85 per session. Some private health funds cover psychology. No referral is required if not wishing to access medicare.
Please read the FAQS and Helpful Info before booking.
